The question of sustainable building<\/strong> is increasingly coming under the spotlight as a key aspect in the world of construction and architecture, due to a growing commitment to practices that minimise environmental impact and promote energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n

Implementing sustainable building practices means using renewable resources<\/strong> such as natural lime and reducing CO2<\/sub> emissions. These practices help conserve natural resources, improving the energy efficiency of buildings and promoting a healthier environment. In addition, sustainable construction encourages waste reduction and the use of recyclable materials, contributing to a circular economy.<\/p>\n\n

Lime in construction: an ancient material for the future<\/h2>\n\n

Lime is one of the oldest building materials, used since Roman times<\/strong>. In recent decades, however, it had been largely replaced by more modern materials such as cement. Today, thanks to the increasing focus on sustainability, lime is again being used in construction due to its environmentally friendly nature.<\/p>\n\n

As early as 14,000 years<\/strong> ago, lime was used in construction for the construction of buildings, aqueducts and roads using its ability to harden very well in the presence of water.
