CALCAREOUS SAND EXTRA-SMOOTHING PLASTER is used as an extra-smooth finish over CALCAREOUS SAND FINE PLASTER.
For restoration work, the causes of existing deterioration must always be carefully assessed before proceeding, in order to prevent previously encountered problems from recurring. In particular, rising damp must be eliminated or at least reduced, as must any presence of salts and any issues that may arise on external façades due to inadequate protection from atmospheric agents.
